Sandra Ximena Bonilla Medina is a tenured professor and researcher in the Master's programme in Applied Linguistics to the Teaching of English at Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas. She holds a Ph.D. in Education and an M.A. in Applied Linguistics, leads the ESTUPOLI research group and serves as editor of the Colombian Applied Linguistics Journal. Her research focuses on language education, interculturality, technology, race and social justice.
Javier Armando Sierra Gordillo is an English professor, researcher and academic consultant based in Bogotá. He holds an M.A. in Applied Linguistics and teaches at Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas and Universidad Nacional de Colombia. He is a member of the ESTUPOLI research group, and his research focuses on teachers' subjectivities, Critical Race Theory, raciolinguistics and multimodal discourse analysis.
